MEMBERSHIP

As members of The Saturday Club, we are always looking for enthusiastic women to join us in achieving our goals and to infuse the organization with new ideas. While prospective members are often introduced by our members, our doors are always open to women who are looking to establish new friendships and acquaintances and expanding their volunteer experience in community service.

In order to be eligible for membership in The Saturday Club, you must be at least 21 years of age and attend at least two Club meetings, excluding the September meeting. By attending our meetings, you will have the opportunity to meet a number of women in the Club, have your questions answered, and learn more about our organization to decide if The Saturday Club is right for you.

After you have attended two Club meetings, you may request an Application for Membership. The application must be completed and submitted, with the appropriate initiation fee and dues, to the Vice President for Membership. Additionally, prospective members are required to attend a new member orientation prior to the proposed induction ceremony. All prospective members must be approved by the Board. New members are inducted twice yearly at the January and May Club meetings.

The Club meets on the second Tuesday of every month, from September through May, at 7:15 pm. in our historic Clubhouse at 117 West Wayne Avenue in Wayne. A brief social time is followed by a business meeting and program. Club meetings are always open to guests.
