ABOUT THE SATURDAY CLUB

Who We Are and What We Do

Women with a purpose - these are the women of The Saturday Club. We are mothers, sisters, friends and daughters - all working together to help others by providing direct service and philanthropic support to charitable organizations in the greater Philadelphia area. Some of us are homemakers, some are career women; the Club provides opportunities for each. We all join together to achieve the goal of giving back to our community while enjoying the camaraderie of friendship and expanding our interests in the process.

The Saturday Club consists of up to 150 Active members, and approximately 40 Social members, who wish to participate in both the philanthropic and social facets of the organization. While there are numerous and varied community service projects from which to choose, the Club also hosts a wonderful mix of ladies-only, couples and family events providing everyone - spouses, children as well as members - with opportunities enjoy the company of old friends and make new acquaintances.

From September through May, the Club meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:15 pm. in our historic Clubhouse at 117 West Wayne Avenue in Wayne. A brief social time is followed by a business meeting and program. Club meetings are always open to guests.
