Sponsorship Opportunities

We have many levels of sponsorship available this year for cash and in-kind donations. Please consider being a Stargazer Sponsor ($100) or more! Sponsorship levels include listing in the program book and may include program advertising space, tickets to the fashion show, and more, depending on the level. Program Advertisements

There are advertising opportunities in our fashion show program book. The program book is approximately 150 pages and is professionally printed and bound on glossy stock. A full-page ad is $400, a 1/2-page ad is $200.  Full-color inside front and inside back cover pages are available; please inquire for pricing. Ticketing Information

How much are tickets?
Tickets for the 2010 fashion show are $45 per person, children and adults.  There are a limited number of "Preferred Upgrades" with front-row seating near the runway available for an additional $10 per ticket on a first-come, first-served basis.

What happens if the Preferred Upgrade seats are sold out when my ticket order is received?

If Preferred Upgrades for your first-choice show are sold-out, we will attempt to fill your Preferred Upgrade order for your next choice shows. If none of your choice shows have Preferred Upgrade seats available, we will attempt to fill regular tickets for your preferred show choices.  Each additional $10 paid for the Preferred Upgrade seats will be refunded if sold-out.

How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets for the fashion show are processed by mail. CLICK HERE to download the invitation and ticket order form. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Please do not forget to include a self-addressed, stamped business-sizes envelope so your ticket and raffle ticket orders can be sent back to you!
 
Can I order tickets by phone or online?
We're sorry, but all ticket orders are processed by mail only.
 
What forms of payment are accepted?
Checks are payable to "The Saturday Club". We also accept Visa and MasterCard. 

When will I get my tickets?
Ticket orders are fulfilled within a few days of receipt. If you have not received your tickets within 2 weeks of sending in your order, you may email SATCLUBAGFS@YAHOO.COM or call 610.687.9975 to inquire about the status.  Please note that ticket fulfillment will not begin until February 1, 2010.

When is it too late to order tickets?
Our website will be updated to reflect any sold-out status for the shows. Late orders may be fulfilled depending on availability and tickets will be placed at Will Call and you will be notified.

My daughter is a model in the fashion show. Do I need a ticket for her? Do I need a ticket for me?
You do not need to purchase a ticket for your daughter who is appearing in the fashion show.  You do need a ticket for yourself and any other guests that will be attending the show.  A ticket is required for everyone except for show models.

What are the seating arrangements at the show?
All seats are reserved and you will receive your table number at registration on the day of the show. Most of the tables are rounds of ten (10) with some able to accommodate twelve (12). Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can you accommodate a party larger than 10 people?
Most of the tables are rounds of ten (10) with some able to accommodate twelve (12). If you have a party of 12, it may be possible to seat you at one table, depending on how many other large parties are requesting the same show. If your party size is larger than 10-12, it will be split among two or more tables (depending on the size of your party), and we will do our best to have the tables near each other.

Can groups of friends be seated together?
Parties who wish to be seated together MUST order tickets on the same order form. If you cannot order on the same form, you may note seating requests when placing your order, but we will consider only mutual requests and cannot make any guarantees. 

I cannot attend the show but would like to purchase Raffle Tickets, Pre-Ordered Souvenirs, or make a donation to The Saturday Club. How can I do this?
CLICK HERE for raffle ticket information.  CLICK HERE for pre-ordered souvenir information.  To make a donation to The Saturday Club's 8th Annual American Girl Fashion Show, please mail a check made payable to "The Saturday Club" and clearly note in the memo section that it is a donation to the fashion show.  If your donation of $100 or more is received before February 12, 2010, you will be acknowledged in the fashion show program book as a sponsor. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.


Fashion Show Information

Do the girls attending the show dress up and bring their dolls?
Absolutely! Every girl is encouraged to bring their favorite American Girl doll and dress up to her heart's desire. Girls can bring their dolls to the fashion show Doll Hair Salon for a fabulous new hairstyle and enjoy the show together. Girls can also pre-order the fashion show exclusive treat seat just for their dolls (note: there may be space limitations on use of the treat seat during the actual fashion show).

How long is the fashion show?
The fashion show is approximately 2 hours long, including a 20 minute intermission which features our Guest Models.

Why is the show recommended for children 6 and up?
This recommendation is from American Girl Programs. For the maximum enjoyment of the audience, infants and toddlers will not be admitted. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Will a meal be served at the show?
Yes, a meal is included in the ticket price and is a sit-down luncheon.  This year's selection for adults is a chicken salad croissant sandwich with potato salad. For children, the meal selection is chicken fingers with french fries.  All meals come with fresh fruit, beverages (water, iced tea, and lemonade), and a dessert.

Is there wheelchair access at The Desmond Hotel?
Yes, The Desmond is wheelchair accessible. The ballroom where the fashion show is held is on the ground floor and does not require the use of an elevator.

Will souvenirs and merchandise be available to purchase at the fashion show?
Yes! A limited quantity of American Girl Fashion Show exclusive souvenirs will be available at the show. If you are interested in these exclusive souvenirs, please pre-order them with your ticket reservations to guarantee availability (CLICK HERE to see pre-ordered souvenirs). At the show, other souvenirs and merchandise will be available to purchase.


Guest Model Experiences

Guest models are different from show models. Guest modeling is a wonderful opportunity for a child attending the fashion show to participate in a mini fashion show during intermission. Guest models may bring their favorite American Girl doll and dress as they like - matching outfits to dolls or not.

The Celebrity Hostess will introduce each guest model and state a few interesting facts about her as she walks the runway during intermission. There are limited Guest Model Experiences available for each show and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The Guest Model Experience is $40 and includes an exclusive fashion show gift!

To purchase a guest model experience, download and complete the GUEST MODEL INFORMATION FORM and return along with your ticket order. If you are unable to download the form, you may enclose a piece of paper with the following information:

Doll Hair Salon

The immensely popular Doll Hair Salon is returning to the 2010 shows. A variety of hairstyles will be available for girls to choose for their dolls. Dolls will be styled by hairstyling professional during the show.  The different hairstyles range in price from $15-$25 depending on style, complexity, and adornments. Please note that much-loved dolls may not end up looking brand-new, but their hair will look very pretty!

The Doll Hair Salon is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't forget to check-in to the salon before the show.  Girls can drop off their dolls after registration, choose a hairstyle, and when the doll is ready, she will be delivered to the table (or you can pick her up!).
